2.8ghz Pentium D
3gb DDR2 RAM (3 sticks) @ 667mhz
nVidia geForce 8500 gt w/ 512mb Video RAM
100gb SATA @ around 22MB/s
(That's all that I think is relevant)
On a 1280x1080 resolution, I am unable to record anything with a decently quality and framerate, or even a sub-decent quality and framerate. I've tried several solutions such as Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder, FRAPS (Demo), and Bandicam. They all seem to produce the same results: Laggy footage of a laggy computer environment because of the recording. Before you blaming it on my harddisk, whatever recording software, combined with whatever is running (I've tried it when nothing is running, just the desktop, and it still was jumpy) is using 100% of my processor's attention, which is still not enough. I've seen people, on old threads (Not here) talking about running things like WoW whilst recording with a good quality on old computers w/ 1gb of RAM and a 2.6ghz processor. This leads me to believe one thing:
I'madoinitwrong.
So, any suggestions, or is it really my PC after all?
