Although I really know all these definitions, such messages often posted to troll someone. Anyway, you know, people rarely admit that somebody else is better than they. That's why sometimes it's strange to read such posts.

oxytamine is the only one that know anything about hacking, related on challenges, and not by suffering consequences for any persons. As "hackers" believe they need to keylog and count theirselves as hackers.

hackers are people that develop their own hacks, without saving privat informations of third for theirselves. They're just doing it for challenge. Nothing more.

Again, purely for information infusion:

Telnet used to be the big thing, back in the days of BBS and dial-up connection. There is still a fairly large underground scene in telnet servers and old BBS revived for modern day security by obscurity, but since win XP SP1, telnet has been disabled by default for most users.

Telnet cracking is only possible if the target has a telnet server running, but it's long defunct for any meaningful form of attack. You could say it's considered a "fools backdoor" like the "messenger" service (nothing to do with MSN), it's a weakness you only have by not keeping up to date. I would highly doubt that telnet was the point of entry. But a lot of people think SSL is secure because of it's name (Secure Socket Layer), so it's quite easy to get fooled by jargon or caught behind the times as things in computing shift so quickly.

For every hack tool that has some serious power and ends up distributed to skiddies, there are AV and malware companies around the world trying to defeat it to sell their next product. New flaws get patched, caught and monitored, but those clever little programmers find more holes to punch through. Just research the Zeus bot net systems and see how long they've been trying to get rid of that one...

Nice opinion and I could exclaim that I do know a lot about "hacking" but that would be just as opinionated. I post this information as a mark of my intellect, not my opinion.
