I think you should save money and buy a decent/better phone. I myself have a Nokia 5130 XpressMusic and I'm looking forward to get a Nokia with touchscreen - that's the new generation of mobile phones. ^^.
While you read and (should) follow my tip above, I'll answer to you: no, you shouldn't. 3250 is obviously older. What you could do is a switch AND make him pay a few bucks because yours is better.
P.S.: the topic's title is just wrong. When I first read it I thought it was a thread to talk about phones in general
For me the perfect phone is n95 yes it is...
and yes about the 2 phones...
EDit :
but hes got
Symbian OS v9.1, Series 60 rel. 3.0
CPU ARM 9 235 MHz processor

So, hmmm, yeah. Follow my tip. Stick with your current phone and save money for your 'dream-phone'.
As I already said I'd like a touchscreen phone; I don't know which model yet but I hope it's something simliar to Nokia X6 (8GB).
iPhone is cool you know.
Nokia Xpress Music is a shit!! i got it 1 year ago. Fucken bad. iPhone is shit too.

The only part of your reply which I agree is that Motorola and Samsung are really trash. Nokia pwns.
Well, I have switched from a Nokia 6131 to a Moto A1200 (same price), and I can do amazing stuff here that I'm sure it wouldn't be possible on the 6131.
The OS (including the UI), the build quality, the camera, the games... I can assure that the A1200 pwned my old Nokia at least on those aspects.
However, the 6131 also has it's good points: The battery life is outstanding (at least a week on stand-by), it has the best pad I've ever touched and it's got hot-swap ability.
But I don't really care about the comparisons anymore because I prefer playing/listening music/whatever with my iTouch while I just have my mobile for calls and SMS
@Poster: Do NOT. Just NOT change your phone for that old brick.
@Vetle: Sony Ericsson...? Bah, got a S.E. not long ago and I hate it.
I prefer Nokia phones (preferably most recent ones, starting from the 40s series). Especially because I like to 'pimp' 'em with some themes, games and stuff.
I got that myself this Tuesday, and it really rocks. Plus, LG will be bringing a Gingerbread update soon
Only thing, these are pretty hard to find these days.
Btw, it has multi-touch too
Now i got Nokia N73:
Camera, 2gb, symbian 9.1 blah-blah-blah. i didn`t want change it to some mtfkin touchscreens or i-phone cuz they got big sensitivity and low protection for falling at ground.
My next phone will be proably Nokia E52,
it`s N73 + better CPU + Symbian 9.3
