"Out of curiosity" is a bad title. It doesn't say anything about the topic. /ohaz

CS2D uses BlitzMax (http://www.blitzbasic.com/) as user ohaz already said.
That download link contains just a very old source code version. It's not BlitzMax but Blitz3D code (earlier versions were written in Blitz3D). The source code of the BlitzMax version of CS2D is closed and not available.

Well, actually, Game Maker isn't real programming language, but it has GML (GameMaker Language) which is scripting. But it's quite advanced program and you can do a lot with it - there are cs2d-like games in GM on youtube so it could be possible to make whatever you want. And from me - it's also possible to make 3d games (with DirectX) for it - I've made a Minecraft clone in it (but it was quite slow and memory-eating - even more than real minecraft, about 900k or more)

so generally use game maker OR blitz3d depending on how do you want to make and what do you wand to make and how long do you want to make something in it.

@Everyone: I had just wanted to know, because most everyone enjoys zombies. So I was planning to make Zombie addon/mod for CS2D instead of making a script. I was going to make new guns and different zombie's. You would be able to see zombies crawl, jump, run, climb, and ect. In the one I was plan on making, you would be able to climb on top of walls and run and shoot down or up. You could choose up by pressing up arrow, or shoot down by pressing down arrow. I have made a game before, and have asked DC(Dark Corner) if he would like to be a part of it, but he denied my offer.

And DC made right choice.

Uh, DC I found the entire source code of CS2D. Its all in the CS2D.exe file, but I dont have the right scripting language for it. I have 20+ Languages but the when I open the Soure code it shows in Normal text mode, is this correct?

Fucking nonsense - you have disassembled CS2D, right? It's assembly language and it has nothing to do with game source.

What disassembler did you use? Quite strange to see "normal text mode" instead of assembly code.
