Programing and scripting is two different thing, about 1% of the users could possibly make anything of it. Once again the whole blitzmax engine is old.

Is it possible to change from old engine to new engine? I know you can't change it 'cause DC must rewrite the game again.

That's what @user SQ: is working on, not entirely made for PC, at least primarily on smartphones, but hopefully one day to PC as well, all in Unity.

if cs2d would have a ghraphics meter it would be great for slow windows computer because you can low the graphics to have great fps

I'll go off with the assumption that you're not very old.
In that case, any computer that has a production date that doesn't predate your birth day should be able to run CS2D at a respectable level.
I believe that if you struggle to run CS2D, something else might be at play here.

Since this thread got upped recently, I have to tell that it's actually possible to have a very few FPS in CS2D.

It happens in the Zombies! mode when you spawn a few dozens of zombie bots in the same point without letting them move by spawning obstacles. Then all you have to do is to stay close to them and enjoy how they're trying to kill you with their claws but they cannot do this because of the obstacle. It will cause a huge fps drop, especially if you will bring something like a laser so they'll not only try to kill you, but will also re-spawn everytime.

This was (and maybe still is) a common thing on the ...C-4... server.

And here's a solution: turn down the volume to 0% in CS2D settings and your FPS rate will stay high as it always were. It's not helpful to disable sound in Windows or speakers, though.
